Imagine this: You’re an ambitious educator seeking to offer your students a truly unique learning experience. Your goal is to lead them on an extraordinary journey into one of the most mysterious realms on Earth—the deep ocean.

The adventure begins by establishing a club or class dedicated to deep ocean exploration. The heart of this educational endeavor involves preparing a robotic boat to traverse the ocean, ultimately reaching a school on the far side. Over six months to a year, your students will engage in activities such as route planning, boat assembly, testing, and diverse ocean STEM projects. They’ll gain knowledge in oceanography, geography, robotics, and nautical physics, among other areas. We support this comprehensive learning journey with a rich curriculum and a variety of interactive activities.

A small cargo compartment aboard the boat allows students to send souvenirs and gifts to their counterparts across the ocean, adding a personal touch to the scientific mission. Once launched, your school can track the vessel’s voyage across the ocean via our interactive online dashboard, which also displays data collected from the deep ocean in an engaging and accessible manner. This project represents one of the few ways students can remotely explore the vast depths of the ocean, thousands of miles from shore.

The anticipation culminates in a cross-cultural Zoom conference call, where students can open the boat, share the gifts, and exchange experiences—an unforgettable conclusion to an exciting and educational year-long project.

This initiative promises an unparalleled educational journey, filled with excitement, education, and hands-on learning that spans the globe.
