Twice the Power, Twice the Payload

Building on the proven design of the Solar Sentinel 100, the Solar Sentinel 200 offers enhanced endurance, greater payload capacity, and advanced communication capabilities—all while remaining under two meters in length. Its self-righting trimaran hull provides superior stability offshore, while the slightly larger central hull doubles available payload capacity compared to the 100 model.
The 200-watt solar array delivers far more energy each day, supporting heavier payloads and higher-duty operations. At an efficient 7–10 watts, the vessel maintains 2 knots of cruising speed, with reserves of power for extended missions and complex onboard tasks.
Robust Power & Larger Volume
The Sentinel 200 features the same dual-processor modular electrical system found in the 100, enabling both ultra-low-power modes and higher-intelligence operations. With expanded power generation, operators can run larger sensors, additional electronics, or longer communication windows. Vast onboard SSD storage supports extended missions, with data offloaded via Wi-Fi, USB, or streamed live via LTE.
This self-righting multihull design facilitates a larger solar panel without compromising seaworthiness. By going wider, instead of longer, this vessel remains under two meters, categorized (in many regions) as ultra-small craft, subject to less restrictive regulations.
Connectivity & Options
Like its sibling, the Sentinel 200 supports LTE, Iridium SBD, and short-range RC. A major upgrade, however, is its optional Starlink integration. This allows high-bandwidth real-time transmission of video, acoustic data, and other sensor outputs—even from the most remote corners of the ocean. For missions where continuous live feeds are essential, the Sentinel 200 sets a new standard in compact USVs.
Interfaces & Performance
Electronics and I/O match the 100 model, with:
Inputs: I²C, CAN, SPI, UART, Ethernet, analog, digital, and seven USB ports (switchable hub).
Outputs: PWM, audio, and 7.4 V, 5 V, and 12 V rails (many switch-controlled).
Built-in sensors: high-grade accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer and system health sensors.
With daily solar yields of 600–1200 Wh in typical conditions, the Solar Sentinel 200 supports continuous operation at sea while carrying up to 12 kg of payload.
